Pepino el Pyu at Mercadito | Outside Trencherman         

 It's Restaurant Week in Chicago! I went to Mercadito with a big group of friends from school and was blown away by their Restaurant Week dinner menu, so. much. great. food. Favorite items: the tradicional guacamole, pollo tacos, coles de bruselas (amazing!) and Lake Effect cocktail.

It was my first time at Trencherman. The space is awesome. I went with my girlfriends and we had a great time trying as many of the drinks as possible. Although unfortunately ironic, our favorite drink was the gin cocktail: Young Money. The Potato Gnocchi blew away the popular Pickled Tots.
